Marathon and Awareness Campaign

Dunya Women’s Cancer Center has cooperated with The World Vision and organized a marathon and an awareness campaign on women’s tumors, ways of avoiding them, and dealing with them. The event took place at Shuqba-a village east of Ramallah

The goal of the event was to inform school students in the village and their parents about breast cancer, and the importance of early detection, and the self exam. The event included 40 students and 25 ladies from the village. The event was organized by Dunya Women’s Cancer Center, The World Vision Organization, and the Health Department at the Ministry of Education. There was also a marathon for the students who were given awards at the end of it. The goal of the marathon was to focus on the early detection of breast cancer
